About the Class

In one session, you'll transform a flat wooden panel into a dimensional plaster relief — learning the principles of form, depth, and movement that apply to any sculptural work.

This class is as much about learning to see dimension as it is about building it. You'll understand not just what to do, but why — knowledge that carries into every creative project after this one.

What You'll Learn
How to read a relief template as a dimensional blueprint
How to establish elevation and build depth structurally
How to sculpt smooth, flowing forms
How to control edges for softness and movement
How light and shadow interact with relief surfaces
How to avoid the common mistakes that flatten dimensional work
What's Provided

A 14×11" wooden cradle panel, professional relief template, plaster, shared studio tools, and instructional reference materials.

You'll need to bring an apron, gloves, and a small sculpting kit — Amazon link sent before class.
